Advanced Particulate Mitigation for Diesel Generators.
Product overview
As an authorized Sales & Service partner, we provide industrial-grade RECD systems based on advanced Electrostatic Precipitation (ESP) technology. Designed specifically for Diesel Generator (DG) sets ranging from low to high kVA capacities, our systems are engineered to meet and exceed the rigorous air quality standards mandated by the National Green Tribunal (NGT) and the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
We bridge the gap between legacy power infrastructure and modern environmental compliance. Unlike passive ceramic filters that rely on physical trapping—which often causes high back-pressure and engine choking—our active ESP system ensures smokeless operation without compromising engine performance.
Diesel exhaust passes through a high-voltage ionization zone where Particulate Matter (PM 2.5/PM 10), carbon soot, and heavy metals are electrically charged.
Stage 2: Migration & Collection
The charged particles are subjected to a strong electrostatic field, forcing them to migrate toward and adhere to oppositely charged collection surfaces.
Stage 3: Clean Discharge
The exhaust gas, now stripped of over 90% of particulate matter, exits the system, ensuring smokeless and compliant operation.

🌱 Have Questions
Frequently Asked Questions about RECD
Is the RECD system mandatory for my Diesel Generator?
Yes. To comply with the rigorous air quality standards mandated by the National Green Tribunal (NGT) and the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), installing a Retrofit Emission Control Device (RECD) is essential for reducing Particulate Matter emissions from DG sets.
Will installing RECD affect the fuel efficiency or pickup of my generator?
No. Unlike wall-flow DPF filters that can choke the engine, our system uses an open-flow Electrostatic Precipitation (ESP) architecture. This ensures negligible back-pressure and near-zero aerodynamic drag, preventing engine derating and maintaining optimal fuel efficiency.
How does this system differ from ceramic filters or wet scrubbers?
Our RECD uses a dry-process, active filtration method. It does not require water (like wet scrubbers) or high exhaust temperatures for regeneration (like ceramic filters). This makes it ideal for generators running on variable loads or in standby mode, as it operates efficiently without “active regeneration” cycles.
What is the maintenance requirement for the system?
The system is designed for a low Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). The collection cells are durable and washable, meaning they can be serviced and reused rather than requiring expensive replacements upon clogging. We offer comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) to handle this periodic cleaning.
Can this be retrofitted to older legacy generators?
Yes. Our RECD systems are specifically engineered to bridge the gap between legacy power infrastructure and modern environmental compliance, making them suitable for DG sets ranging from low to high kVA capacities.
